'Linking Iran to Fairford incident possible false-flag op'
Sakina Datoo, journalist, author and producer, says accusations about Iran's involvement in the Fairford incident are riddled with inconsistencies, making it look like a false-flag operation to tarnish Iran’s image.
Datoo added that "Fairford incident may seek to pull Iran into another conflict."
On Monday, the British police released on bail five men arrested near the Royal Air Force base in Gloucestershire.
According to British media outlets, the men, reportedly all London-based Britons in their mid-20s, were arrested on “suspicion of explosives offenses and preparing to commit a terrorist act under UK counter-terrorism legislation” after reports of three “suspicious white vans” near the outpost on Sunday.
