'No security for aggressors'

A senior Iranian military commander has warned that as long as Iran faces threats from air, ground and sea, no aggressor country and none of their allies will experience security. Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Major General Ali Abdollahi, made the comment in a social media post in reaction to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s address to the UN General Assembly session. He said the president's remarks at the General Assembly were the voice of Iran's dignified nation. The general added that through his commendable speech, Pezeshkian actually slapped the criminal US President Donald Trump in the face on behalf of the noble people of Iran. Abdollahi vowed that Iran’s armed forces will stand alongside the nation and its president in avenging the blood of martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and the children of Minab school. During his address, Pezeshkian displayed photographs of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution and the children of Minab School, who were massacred in an American missile attack, reiterating that Iran is a victim of US-Israeli terrorism.

Europe aiding US aggression

Iran's foreign minister has slammed European countries, including Germany, for remaining silent on the United States’ law-breaking behavior and bullying. Abbas Araghchi made the comment in a meeting with his German counterpart, Johann Wadephul, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session. He said nobody can ignore Tehran’s goodwill in negotiations with Washington, and the US-Israeli aggression against Iran in the middle of negotiations. Araghchi stressed that Iran has conveyed its conditions for the progress of the diplomatic approach to the US. He noted that restoration of regional security depends on ending the United States’ interventionist and aggressive measures against Iran. In an earlier meeting with the European Union’s foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, Araghchi had warned European officials about long-term consequences of facilitating US-Israeli war crimes. He cited the remarks by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte who admitted that the US aggression against Iran would have been impossible without Europe.

Gaza health crisis 

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip have issued a new warning about the dire situation of the health sector, including depletion of medical stocks across the war-torn territory. According to a report by Palestinian media, stocks of 45 types of medicines have been completely depleted. The report added that Gaza's hospitals are facing a 54-percent shortage of medical supplies and a deficit of more than 80 percent in laboratory materials. It noted that shortages of diesel, medicines, medical supplies, and intravenous solutions have forced health facilities to scale back services, and some hospitals have suspended all operations except for emergency care. The report said the amount of medicines entering Gaza amid Israel's restrictions on the entry of aid cover only 15-20 percent of patients’ needs. It warned that continued shortages of medicines and medical supplies will further worsen conditions for patients and the wounded in Gaza as the winter approaches.
