Iran warning
The Iranian armed forces’ Khatam al-Anbia Central Command has warned the US and regional countries that any mistake could make them targets of the country’s painful attacks. The central command said Iran has information that the US is planning to resume hostilities against the country on the green light of some regional countries. The top military body said any such move by the US will expose its entire interests and bases in the region to effective back-to-back and painful attacks by Iran. The central command warned that Iran will not think twice about its response. The military body also warned regional countries against adhering to their hypocritical approach toward Iran by supporting the US aggression. The central command said anyone complicit in vicious acts of the US should not expect restraint from Iran.
West Bank shooting
At least one Israeli settler has been killed and several others injured in a shooting operation near Ramallah in the occupied West Bank. Following the operation, the regime forces shut all entrances and exits to towns across the Ramallah region. In a separate incident, Israeli troops opened live fire on a Palestinian vehicle east of Jenin, claiming that the driver intended to carry out a ramming attack. The attack left one Palestinian dead and another wounded. This comes as Israeli forces continue their raids and abduction campaigns across the West Bank. Violence against Palestinians in the occupied territory has escalated since Israel launched its genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023.
Ukraine deadly strike
The death toll from Ukraine’s attack on Russia’s main oil refinery and a residential building in the Moscow region has risen to three. The strikes also left nearly 20 people injured. Ukraine used hundreds of drones in the attack. President Volodymyr Zelensky says the strike targeted a key Russian oil facility and a logistics site. The site supplies more than a third of the Moscow region's fuel. Russian officials have described the attack as the largest drone strike in recent years. Both Russia and Ukraine have escalated long-range strikes against each other in recent months.
