IRGC hits US warships

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps says it has targeted an American aircraft carrier and a destroyer with several ballistic missiles, forcing them to flee the engagement zone. The IRGC said in its statement that both American vessels were harassing Iranian ships and were part of the United States’ illegal naval blockade of Iran. According to the statement, the American vessels fled the area after suffering damage and due to fear of a renewed Iranian attack. The IRGC also cited an earlier statement by the US Central Command, which confirmed the IRGC’s attack on an aircraft carrier and a guided-missile destroyer. It noted that CENTCOM’s admission that two US Navy warships were attacked is clear proof of the enemy's strategic defeat and a testament to the offensive power of the IRGC. The statement stressed that the IRGC and other Iranian armed forces are determined and resolute in defending the sovereignty of Islamic Iran. The IRGC warned that the American regime must await heavy responses from Iranian armed forces if its hostile and aggressive actions against the country continue.

Response to US aggression

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps’ Navy says it has targeted three vessels affiliated with the child-killing US regime, and three tankers trying to cross the Strait of Hormuz along an unauthorized route. The IRGC’s Navy said in its statement that the targeting of the vessels took place after the terrorist army of the United States attacked three Iranian oil tankers, causing damage. It called the savage attack on Iranian tankers by American forces a sign of frustration over their inability to open the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC’s Navy also warned all vessels present in the Persian Gulf and in the vicinity of the Hormuz Strait not to be deceived by the US terrorist army, adding that they will be targeted if they try to cross the waterway through unauthorized routes. Earlier, Iran's Khatam-al-Anbyia Headquarters had warned the US military against continued acts of aggression and stoking insecurity in the region. It said continued harassment of Iranian vessels and the maritime blockade of Iran will trigger a more severe response than before against US military vessels in the region.

Iran controlling Hormuz

Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has released for the first time a video of the measures it has taken to monitor and intercept vessels trying to ignore the country’s Hormuz transit regulations. The video begins with quotes from US President Donald Trump, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and Commander of the US Central Command Brad Cooper, who falsely claim that the Strait of Hormuz is open and under the control of American forces. It then shows the IRGC’s naval force monitoring and intercepting cargo and tanker ships that were trying to cross the strategic waterway through routes not authorized by Iran. The IRGC says the United States is the biggest threat to security of regional countries and maritime trade in West Asia. It also warns that the US claim to support and escort ships through unauthorized Hormuz routes is nothing but a mere lie.
