Iran’s military benefitted technologically from US-Israeli aggression
Iran's defense minister says the recent US-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic has technologically benefited the country's military.
Brigadier General Majid Ibn Reza said on Wednesday that Iran had also obtained sensitive and critical information about the sophisticated and technological equipment used by the US and Israeli military in the recent war.
"Our studies and analyses of the battlefield show that the enemy engaged the Islamic Republic of Iran with the highest level of technology, and this war, from a technological perspective, brought important achievements and lessons for the country," said Ibn Reza in a meeting with senior commanders of the Iranian army.
"…we have valuable and precise information and analysis regarding the technological capabilities that came to the enemy's aid in this war."
He said the recent war of aggression served as a serious test for assessing Iran's capabilities against the latest level of global military technology.
Ibn Reza said Iran's Defense Ministry, which is in charge of the equipment and logistics of the Iranian armed forces, is using the technological findings obtained during the recent war to design and architect appropriate systems for possible future battlefields.
The general said that the US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran was clear proof of how a country that has been under some of the harshest sanctions for many years can rely on domestic capabilities and indigenous capacities to stand against the most advanced warfare technologies in the world.
He said Iran understood in the recent war that its defense technological projects should become more “continuous, consistent, and dynamic” to respond to real-time challenges of the battlefield.
