American emergency physician, Dr. Mimi Syed who served on a medical team in Gaza says she witnessed devastating injuries among Palestinian civilians, particularly children and women, as well as severe malnutrition, starvation, and the collapse of basic healthcare services.
She says Israeli attacks and restrictions on essential supplies have created catastrophic conditions in Gaza, while the United States continues to enable Israel’s actions. She also says that despite presenting her testimony to the United Nations and US officials, she has seen little meaningful response or accountability.
