Pundit: Iran will not surrender as confrontation enters new phase
Sa'd Nimr, a political science professor at Birzeit University, argues that the US aggression against Iran has failed to achieve its objectives, with Tehran refusing to surrender and continuing to retaliate against US bases in the region, leaving the Trump administration with few viable military options.
He predicts Washington will ultimately return to negotiations with Iran, despite Israeli pressure to sustain military strikes in hopes of weakening the Islamic Republic.
Nimr contends that the aggression lacks a clear strategic objective, and argues that the Israeli regime pushed the United States towards it. He also said Washington is mirroring Tel Aviv by withholding casualty figures to shield President Trump from domestic political fallout.
