Iran retaliatory operations 

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps says is Aerospace Force has targeted US military’s air base and central command headquarters in Jordan with missiles. The IRGC said in its statement that the operation was in response to US terrorist army’s aggression against Iran. It added that the US base and its central command headquarters in Jordan were hit with ballistic missiles. The IRGC warned that as long as US threats against Iran remain in place and its forces continue their illegal and evil actions, operations against them will go on. It asserted that American officials must stop their threats and illegal interventions against Iran's national interests. In a separate statement, the IRGC said its forces have targeted and stopped three violating oil tankers that ignored their warnings and chose an unsafe route to transit the Strait of Hormuz. It warned that US terrorist army’s interventions and its orders to vessels in the region will not go unanswered.

Ukraine attack on Iran ship 

Iran's foreign minister says Tehran does not seek escalation with any country, but considers any attack on its citizens or interests unacceptable. Abbas Araghchi was speaking in a phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart, Andrii Sybiha, regarding a recent attack on an Iranian commercial ship in the Caspian Sea. The top diplomat said he has informed his Ukrainian counterpart that Iran expects full restitution for all the losses inflicted on its commercial vessel. Araghchi added that he was assured by Sybiha that the attack on the Iranian ship was unintentional and Ukraine seeks no escalation. Earlier, Moscow reacted to the attack, with the Kremlin spokesman saying the attack on an Iranian cargo vessel is an attack on Iran itself. Dmitry Peskov added that Ukraine's attack on the Iranian ship was a violation of international law and a clear threat to regional security. On Saturday, Ukraine launched a drone strike against the Iranian ship in the Caspian Sea, causing an explosion and killing a sailor. 

Netanyahu ICC arrest warrant 

A new survey has revealed that nearly half of Americans believe that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must be arrested over war crimes in Gaza if he enters the US.  The poll was conducted ahead of Netanyahu’s Tuesday visit to the White House. When asked if the US should enforce an International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant for Netanyahu, 49 percent of respondents in the poll said “yes.” The ICC issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu in November 2024, accusing him of using starvation as a method of warfare, and committing crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. The poll results also showed that 47 percent of Americans think that Netanyahu's actions have damaged relations between the US and Israel. Only one in five Americans supported a US-Israeli plan to remove all Palestinians from Gaza, while twice as many opposed it. Last week, New York City Mayor, Zohran Mamdani, said his office does not have the independent legal authority to enforce ICC’s warrant, but the federal government has. He urged federal officials to join the ICC and execute the warrant.
