Analysts discuss West Asia: Iran, Yemen, and regional shifts
Here is an interview with two political analysts and investigative journalists, Tony Gosling and Rick Sterling, who argued that US policies in the West Asia region, particularly towards Iran and Saudi Arabia, risk deepening regional instability.
Gosling discussed Washington's support for Saudi nuclear capabilities, while describing the US strikes on Iran as unlawful and warning that a lack of accountability could fuel further confrontation.
He also linked the broader regional crisis to the Israeli regime's military aggression in Gaza, contending that the absence of international accountability for both the US atrocities against Iran and the Israeli conduct in Gaza could embolden similar actions elsewhere.
Sterling, meanwhile, praised Yemen's Ansarullah movement, arguing it had successfully resisted both Saudi and US military pressure. The speaker maintained that the group had demonstrated military resilience, forcing both Riyadh and Washington to scale back their campaigns, and described Yemen's actions as consistent with efforts in support of Gaza.
