Yemeni missiles and drones hit Abha Airport after Saudi assault on Sana’a international airport
The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out a successful military operation targeting Saudi Arabia's Abha International Airport with ballistic missiles and drones.
The Yemeni attack came on Monday night after the Saudi enemy launched a blatant airstrike on Sana’a International Airport.
Saudi warplanes targeted the airport with multiple strikes in a desperate bid to close this vital lifeline for humanitarian flights carrying patients, stranded individuals, and those in need of medical care.
Yemeni air defenses heroically engaged the enemy aircraft, successfully repelling the treacherous attack and protecting the airport’s critical role in breaking the blockade.
In a swift and decisive response to this criminal Saudi aggression, the Yemeni Armed Forces attacked Abha International Airport. The operation achieved all its objectives, delivering a clear message that aggression against Yemen will not go unanswered, according to the Yemeni forces.
The Saudi government bears full and sole responsibility for this brutal act and all its grave consequences and repercussions. By recklessly attacking civilian infrastructure at Sana’a International Airport, Riyadh has once again exposed its role in perpetuating the siege and obstructing humanitarian efforts.
The Yemeni Armed Forces reaffirmed their steadfast commitment to the just cause of repelling aggression and completely lifting the unjust blockade imposed on the country. They issued a serious warning to all airlines against flying through Saudi Arabian airspace and urged them to take these warnings seriously until the blockade on Sana’a International Airport is fully lifted.
The Yemeni side also extended sincere gratitude to the Islamic Republic of Iran for its vital assistance in helping lift the unjust blockade on Sana’a International Airport and facilitating humanitarian flights to and from the facility.
Massive public demonstrations erupted across the capital Sana’a and in governorates, districts, villages, and rural areas, with the great Yemeni people taking to the streets in powerful shows of unity.
Loyal and noble Yemeni tribes also held massive rallies, demonstrating their authentic, faith-based, and jihadist stances in support of the resistance.
The Yemeni people will never accept the continuation of aggression and blockade, the statement said, adding that with God’s help, the Armed Forces remain fully prepared and determined to take all necessary steps and measures to deter the aggressors and achieve the complete lifting of the siege.
Yemen stands firm, united, and victorious alongside the Axis of Resistance. The days of Saudi-Zionist-American impunity are over.
