The Hezbollah resistance movement says Israel continues to repeatedly violate the ceasefire agreement, adding that it is monitoring all breaches and reserves the right to defend Lebanon and its people.
In a statement released early on Monday, Hezbollah reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a residential structure in the city of Nabatieh, while a separate airstrike hit another residential building in the town of Meifdoun.
Additionally, Israeli drones bombarded an open area on the outskirts of Frun in southern Lebanon.
The resistance movement further slammed the Israeli occupation forces for persistently intimidating civilians by deploying stun grenades near residents in the towns of Burj Qalawayh and Braashit.
It also noted that Israeli aircraft released suspicious objects over Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Kfar Tebnit.
Hezbollah referenced the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding signed between Iran and the United States, highlighting that its initial provision mandates an immediate halt to hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon, and contending that the ongoing Israeli attacks represent a direct violation of that agreement.
Israeli forces conducted renewed violations and assaults on Lebanese territory on Sunday, carrying out airstrikes in various locations in the South, including the town of Mayfadoun and Nabatieh.
The airstrikes targeted Mayfadoun late at night, followed by another strike that impacted Nabatieh, specifically in the al-Maslakh neighborhood.
These attacks persist despite recent diplomatic efforts and agreements involving Lebanon and Israel, reflecting a continuous pattern of violations rather than a move towards de-escalation.
Since March 2, Israeli assaults throughout Lebanon have resulted in the deaths of 4,247 individuals and injuries to 12,195 others, as the nation continues to endure the human cost of the prolonged hostilities.
