In Iran, on a national day named after the great poet Ferdowsi, a special event has been held to honor martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
The late leader has always been revered as being an avid reader and for the importance he attached to the Persian language.
