Iraqi Islamic Resistance hits dozens of US targets across West Asia

Fighters from the anti-terror coalition Islamic Resistance in Iraq carried out dozens of drone operations against American targets across West Asia on April 1, 2026.

Fighters from the anti-terror coalition Islamic Resistance in Iraq have carried out dozens of operations against US interests across West Asia in the past 24 hours, inflicting heavy damage on the US assets.

According to a statement issued by the group on Wednesday, the strikes hit American bases in Iraq and elsewhere in the region.

The statement noted that Iraqi Islamic Resistance fighters conducted the operations, using 41 kamikaze drones.

"These widespread strikes come within the framework of ongoing operations against the positions of foreign occupation forces deployed to the region, and in reprisal for their acts of aggression," the statement pointed out.

It highlighted that the operations, aimed at expulsion of occupation forces from the Iraqi territories and in a strong show of solidarity with other resistance factions in the region, will continue unabatedly.

Informed sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Wednesday's drone strikes on American targets hit logistical installations, military hardware, as well as accommodation camps of US troops.

Back on March 25, Iraqi resistance group Saraya Awliya al-Dam claimed responsibility for a targeted operation against positions of Kurdish separatist movements and Israeli Mossad operatives in Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdistan region of northern Iraq.

The group said in a statement that the attack relied on precise intelligence gathered by its members.
According to the statement, a number of Mossad officers purportedly sustained severe injuries in the accurate and targeted strikes.
