The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has announced a new phase of retaliatory operations against US and Israeli targets as Iran's Army strikes key bases of the invading coalition.
In a statement on Tuesday, the IRGC pointed to the start of the new phase of strikes.
"A new round of effect-based and targeted ‘True Promise 4’ operations, commenced at dawn today utilizing super-heavy and pinpoint-strike systems, multi-warhead missiles with solid and liquid fuel, and destructive drones," it said.
In a separate statement released on Tuesday, Iran’s Army said that, in response to atrocities committed against the Iranian nation, particularly the killing of the martyrs of the Dena destroyer, it had continued strikes against Israeli and US strategic targets across the region, including technology centers, cyber‑warfare facilities, and Rafael arms factories.
According to the statement, these technology and cyber‑warfare centers enabled the Israeli regime to continue its aggression against Iran using advanced long‑range military software and AI‑based technologies.
It added that Rafael Corporation is responsible for designing weapons systems, drone platforms, and the occupying entity’s defensive systems, including the Iron Dome and Iron Beam.
The US and Israeli armed forces launched their military aggression against Iran in late February by attacking 30 targets across Tehran, assassinating the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and several senior Iranian officials.
Since then, Iranian armed forces have retaliated swiftly by launching barrages of missiles and drones at Israeli‑occupied territories as well as US bases across the region.
According to Iran’s Ministry of Defense, Iranian forces have killed and injured at least 600 American troops at various US bases since the start of the aggression.
Iranian officials say targeting US military bases in the region constitutes “legitimate self‑defense.”
Referring to Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, they say Iran has the legal right to defend itself against “acts of aggression” by the United States or the Israeli regime.
