Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), Ali Larijani, says the sacred land of Iran is no place for "Hell dwellers", vowing that Iranian forces will kill and capture thousands of troops if they recklessly set foot in Iran.

In a post on X on Thursday, Larijani said some American officials have stated that "they intend to enter Iranian territory on the ground with several thousand troops”, five days after a US-Israeli military coalition began an unprovoked war of aggression against the Islamic Republic.

“The valiant sons of Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei are waiting for you, ready to disgrace those corrupt American officials by killing and capturing thousands,” the country’s security chief emphasized, stressing, “The Sacred land of Iran is no place for Hell dwellers.”

Citing an unnamed American official, Axios had earlier reported that the proposal of supporting armed Kurdish militants in a ground offensive inside Iran was first put forward by the CIA and Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and later confirmed by the US intelligence services.

The aggression against Iran was launched on Saturday, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 1,200 Iranian nationals so far, most of them civilians, including schoolchildren.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and some top-ranking commanders were also martyred in the unprovoked and illegal aggression.

In response, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army have launched multiple waves of missile strikes against US military assets in regional countries and on targets in the Israeli-occupied territories.

Earlier on Thursday, the headquarters of terrorist groups based in the border areas of Iraq were also targeted and decimated, Iranian armed forces announced.
