Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says Iran is always ready for diplomacy on an equal basis and in the presence of mutual respect.
Araghchi stated that the 12-day war began with the US President explicitly demanding Iran's "unconditional surrender."
He said Iran responded by continuing resistance until the enemy called for a ceasefire.
