Israel's brutal treatment of disabled Palestinian detainees: The case of Ali Hanoun

Israeli prisons are increasingly detaining Palestinians with disabilities, including the blind, in conditions that disregard their physical and psychological needs.

Human rights groups warn that detainees with special needs face severe mistreatment, as demonstrated by the case of 67-year-old Ali Hanoun, a blind Palestinian repeatedly arrested under harsh conditions.
