Trump’s second term and global nightmare

As January marks the first anniversary of Donald Trump's second term, the promise of a restored American dream has given way, for many, to a sense of global unease.

Once portrayed by supporters as a figure, who would confront the deep state, avoid wars, and even merit a Nobel Peace Prize, Trump's first year has instead been defined by escalating crises and controversy. His presidency is described as erratic and driven by arrogance, with decisions that have deepened human suffering worldwide.

Chief among these are continued military support for the Israeli regime amid the war on Palestinians, the failure to end the conflict in Ukraine, and harsh policies towards migrants involving detention and deportation.

Beyond this, his administration has been condemned for unlawful killings in the Caribbean, threats of war, and attacks on sovereign nations. Together, these actions have fueled instability and hatred, casting a dark shadow over both the United States and the world.
