Bangladesh holds a solemn funeral for former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia

The funeral convoy carrying Bangladesh's former prime minister Khaleda Zia leaves the hospital for Zia's residence ahead of a state funeral.

Zia, the first woman to serve as prime minister in the South Asian nation of 170 million people, died on December 30, 2025, aged 80.
