Israel violates Gaza truce

The Hamas resistance movement has once again slammed Israel’s efforts to obstruct the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, saying the regime continues to violate the truce deal. Senior Hamas official, Bassem Naim, said Israel is trying to obstruct the transition to the second phase of the agreement, because it would be obligated to fully withdraw from Gaza, open the crossings, and begin reconstruction. He added that Israel continues to violate the terms of the first phase, and refuses to fulfill its obligations. Naim stressed that despite Israel’s grave violations, Palestinian resistance factions have adhered to all their obligations under the truce deal. According to Naim, the rate of Israeli violations has reached between 10 and 12 per day, resulting in the killing of more than 400 Palestinians. He also touched on the issue of deployment of an international force to Gaza. Naim reiterated that the role of any international force must be limited to monitoring the ceasefire, preventing escalation, and submitting reports, without any interference in internal Palestinian affairs or the administration of Gaza.

Public opinion toward Israel

A new report shows that Israel has fallen to the bottom of global perception rankings, amid international criticism of the regime over its genocidal war on Gaza. That’s according to an index conducted annually by research and consulting firm, Ipsos. The index is based on large-scale public opinion surveys. Israel recorded a six-point-one drop in its overall score, which is the sharpest decline in the index’s history. According to the report, the regime also ranked last among Generation Z respondents, particularly in Western countries, where it is widely seen as colonial or illegitimate. Israel ranked last in perceptions of exports and products, as well. This reveals a growing global reluctance to engage with goods and services associated with the regime. Anti-Israel sentiments have been on the rise worldwide since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza. Many have been boycotting Israeli products or the ones linked to Israeli companies.

Iranian nation steadfastness

Foreign minister Abbas Araghchi says the Iranian people have shown that they won’t surrender in the face of aggression and coercion as evidenced in the 12-day war in June. Araghchi added that in addition to what was demonstrated in the war, Iran’s history has shown that its people won’t accept domination by any country. He said the enemies made miscalculations about Iran and its capabilities during the imposed war in June, adding that they won’t repeat such miscalculations. The top Iranian diplomat was speaking at a meeting attended by Iranian businesspeople in the city of Isfahan. Araghchi said a new conspiracy has been hatched against Iran and the enemies want to target the country’s economy. He noted that the enemies seek to create dissatisfaction among people through economic pressure, but to no avail.
