Figures from the UN Children's Fund, UNICEF, reveal a heartbreaking surge in infant mortality rate in the Gaza Strip, with first-day fatalities rising by 75%.
Between July and September 2025, at least 47 babies died within hours of their birth - a grim indicator of a collapsing health care system and deepening humanitarian crisis.
