In this episode of Unscripted, we have the pleasure of having Manouchehr Mottaki, who has been a fixture in Iranian politics, from being Iran's Foreign Minister when former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was in power, to a parliamentarian which is a position he holds currently.
He was also active during talks with the P5+1 regarding Iran's nuclear file. The former Foreign Minister warned on January 12 that a referral of Iran's nuclear dossier to the UN Security Council would have negative consequences for the West.
He said "The Europeans should be aware that any move for sending Iran's case to the Security Council will oblige the government -- in conformity with the bill adopted by Parliament -- to end its voluntary cooperation with the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency."
