Israel ceasefire violations

The Israeli military has carried out fresh attacks in Gaza, despite the regime’s ceasefire agreement with Hamas. Israeli forces launched air and artillery strikes on Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. Heavy gunfire has also been heard in the central city of Deir al-Balah, while airstrikes targeted the Shujaiya neighborhood in Gaza City. Nasser Hospital has said it is receiving martyrs and the injured every day, adding that more than 240 people have been killed in Gaza since the ceasefire took effect. Meanwhile, the Israeli regime continues to impede the entry of aid to the war-ravaged territory. According to the Government Media Office, less than thirty-percent of the aid trucks agreed in the ceasefire deal were allowed to enter the Gaza Strip.

Hailing Palestinian resistance

The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah says it does not regret supporting the Palestinian resistance during Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza despite having to pay a heavy price for it. Hezbollah's head of Arab and international relations, Ammar Al-Moussawi, made the remarks at the 34th Arab National conference held in Lebanon. He added that US president Donald Trump’s statement in Israel’s Knesset in mid-October proves Washington’s partnership in Israeli wars in the region. He pointed out that the aim of the enemy has been, and remains, to strike the resistance to remove any obstacles to Western hegemony in the region. Leader of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Ziad al Nakhalah also addressed the conference and praised the unity of the resistance factions in confronting the Israeli regime. He said the Palestinian nation continues resistance and keeps its weapons in the face of a coalition led by the US. Khalil al Hayya, deputy chairman of Hamas’ political bureau also called on the Arab nations to move toward the liberation of Palestine.

Slamming Israeli aggression

Iran has condemned the recent wave of Israeli strikes on Lebanon, warning against the consequences of Tel Aviv’s impunity and its warmongering policies in the region. The Iranian foreign ministry described as heinous crimes against international peace and security, the Israeli attacks that have been launched in violation of a ceasefire put into force in November 2024. The ministry emphasized the responsibility of the United Nations, the international community, and regional nations to hold Israel accountable and punish the regime. Tehran said, such acts of aggression are carried out with Washington’s complicity. Israel’s latest attacks on Lebanon have also drawn condemnation from the Lebanese President, who described them as heinous political acts. The Lebanese Army denounced the strikes, too. Hamas and Yemen’s Ansarullah slammed the aggression as well.
