Gaza ceasefire

US Vice President JD Vance has arrived in the Palestinian occupied territories to work on to the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire plan. His visit, following recent trips by US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, aims to support talks between Hamas officials and the Israeli regime in Cairo. Vance is expected to meet with Benjamin Netanyahu to emphasize maintaining the current truce which has been repeatedly violated since October 10. Conveying President Trump’s message, Vance will stress the US determination to prevent the ceasefire deal from collapsing amid fears Netanyahu may abandon it.

Arab states blamed for 'inaction'

The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement has slammed the silence of Arab and Muslim states amid Israel’s violations in Gaza, urging concrete action in defense of Palestine. Seyyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi questioned why more than 25 million soldiers in Arab and Islamic countries remain idle while Gaza is still facing Israeli attacks. He praised Iran and regional resistance movements for their active role in confronting what he called the US-Israeli aggression. Al-Houthi reaffirmed Yemen’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause despite years of sacrifice. He also paid tribute to the late Yemeni Armed Forces Chief of Staff, Mohammed al-Ghamari, as a symbol of resistance. The Yemeni leader said the massive funeral for al-Ghamari reflected Yemen’s unity and deep loyalty to its armed forces.

IRGC warning

The chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps warns of unleashing hell if anyone makes an aggression against Iran. Major General Mohammad Pakpour said Iran’s response to any attack will be definitely stronger than the one during the 12-day imposed war back in June. He issued the warning during a meeting with Iraq’s national security advisor. The IRGC Chief Commander noted that Israel had counted on its missile defense system in the 12-day war but even the US THAAD system as well as the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense System failed to stop Iran’s missile launches.
