Hamas ready to free Israeli captives

Hamas says it accepts parts of the ceasefire plan proposed by US President Donald Trump, while asserting that some elements of the proposal require further negotiation, calling them vague and ambiguous. The Palestinian resistance movement says it is ready to release all Israeli captives, dead or alive, in line with Trump’s 20-point plan. Hamas also says it is ready to immediately enter talks to discuss the details of an exchange of prisoners. However, the group says, the issues regarding the future of the Gaza Strip and the rights of the Palestinians are being discussed. Hamas has proposed that the administration of Gaza be transferred to a Palestinian technocratic body, established through national consensus. In reaction, Trump has told Israel to immediately stop bombing Gaza. He says he believes Hamas is ready for lasting peace.
