Donald Trump has signed an executive order to change the Department of Defense to the Department of War. US officials who wanted to reiterate the Pentagon's role in preventing conflicts, have not used the Department of War since the 1940s.
Trump usually brags about the US having the strongest military in the world and the greatest equipment and weapons. Symbolic rebranding comes in contrast with Trump's repeated claims of being an 'anti-war president'.
