Iran warns against aggression

Iran’s president says the country is not seeking war, but will stand up to enemies with force in case of any aggression. In an interview, Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran has never wanted a war and has repeatedly said this. Pezeshkian said, however, that Iran does not fear fighting a war if it is imposed on the country. He pointed to the unity of Iranians during the 12-day Israeli aggression in late June and early July. The president added that a more powerful solidarity and unity will be formed in case of another act of aggression against the country.

Gaza resist occupation

Palestinian resistance fighters have reportedly targeted Israeli soldiers in the Gaza Strip during a new operation against the regime’s army, killing one soldier and wounding 11 others.  According to the Israeli media, fate of four other troops remains unknown after the resistance fighters attacked the regime’s troops in Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City. The operation was carried out hours after the military wing of Hamas resistance movement warned that Israel will face severe consequences for its plan to occupy Gaza City. Abu Obeida, the spokesman of the Qassam Brigades said the regime will pay the price with the blood of its soldiers.

Gaza aid flotilla

Activists from around the globe are assembling for the largest civilian flotilla ever that is set to depart for Gaza. Their mission is to pressure the Israeli regime to end its blockade on the strip. The pro-Palestine activists are preparing to set sail for Gaza from Spain on Sunday in dozens of boats carrying aid. They have called on governments to pressure Israel to allow their flotilla through the naval blockade imposed by the regime. Hundreds of activists from 44 countries have joined force for this massive coordinated effort as part of the “Global Sumud Flotilla”. Israel has carried out numerous attacks on ships headed for Gaza over its 15 years of blockade. That includes the 2010 incident, in which the regime’s forces boarded an aid ship and killed at least nine Turkish activists.
