Genocide in Gaza

The Israeli military presses ahead with its bloody campaign in Gaza. Fresh attacks since dawn have killed dozens of Palestinians in the besieged strip. Among the new victims are five members of a family who lost their lives in a strike on a tent, West of Gaza City. Twelve others were killed in a separate strike on Gaza City targeting a school housing the displaced. Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza Strip has reported that it received the dead bodies of five aid seekers killed near the Netzerim Corridor. Apart from casualties caused by relentless bombardment, a five-month-old girl died in Khan Yunis due to starvation. The death toll from the US-Israeli genocide since October 2023 is now close to 62,200, with more than 157,100 others injured.

Yemenis' solidarity with Palestine

Yemenis have held yet another mass rally in the northern city of Sa'ada to express solidarity with Palestinians and denounce the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza. Like every Friday, tens of thousands took part in the rally, chanting slogans against Washington and Tel Aviv. The demonstrators were holding Yemeni and Palestinian flags. They also expressed support for the Yemeni military for its anti-Israel operations. That’s a day after the Leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement called on people to turn out en masse on Friday in support of Palestinians. Yemenis have been holding pro-Palestine rallies almost every Friday since the beginning of the genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023.

Iran army vigilance

Iran’s Army has issued a warning to any possible act of aggression against the country, saying it will deliver a more crushing response to any malicious aggressor. Army Chief, Major General Amir Hatami, said the Army’s response will make the aggressors regret their acts. He issued the warning in a message to congratulate the country’s “Defense Industry Day”. Hatami pointed to the 12-day imposed war on Iran in June, saying the country emerged victorious and the enemy failed to achieve its vicious goals. The Iranian Army Chief added that the victory was obtained thanks to the nation’s unity and resistance, sacrifices of the armed forces and the wise guidance by the leader of the Islamic Revolution during the war.
