Genocide in Gaza

Israel Yemen strike

Talks on Ukraine war
Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky is heading to Washington Monday, joined by key European leaders to discuss a possible end to war between Kyiv and Moscow. British and Italian PMs, French and European commission’s Presidents, the German Chanceller as well as NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, will be part of Zelensky’s delegation. Trump floated the idea of a trilateral meeting with the Russian and Ukrainian presidents if the Monday meeting at the Oval office goes well. Zelensky, however showed skepticism saying that there is no sign that Russia is agreeing to a three-way summit. The visit follows US president Donald Trump’s Alaska summit with Russian president Putin, which ended without a ceasefire deal. Trump hailed big progress on Russia, days after meeting his counterpart, while US special envoy stated that Moscow has made some concessions with regard to five Ukrainian regions central to the conflict.
