More Gaza children killed
The Israeli regime is pressing ahead with its genocidal war on Gaza, killing dozens of Palestinians including children. Israeli forces have killed over 80 Palestinians in 24 hours. Some 250 people were also injured. The death toll includes 10 children killed in a missile attack on the central city of Deir el-Balah. Some aid seekers were also among the victims. According to the Gaza health ministry, more than 57,700 Palestinians have been killed since the US-Israeli genocide began in October 2023. Over 137,600 others have also been injured.
Defying US sanctions
UN rights expert Francesca Albanese has reacted to US decision to sanction her, slamming what she calls a calculated move to weaken her mission. Speaking to reporters, Albanese vowed to keep up defending Palestinian rights. She said she has put everything she has on the line and others can join her to bring a halt to the genocide in Gaza. Albanese has repeatedly accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza and criticized US policy on the war there. The US decision has drawn widespread global condemnation. UN rights chief Volker Turk has demanded that Washington reverse the decision. Turk also called for a halt to attacks and threats against people appointed by the UN and other international institutions like the International Criminal Court. Washington last month imposed sanctions on four ICC judges, in part due to the court's arrest warrant for Netanyahu.
Israel failure in Gaza
The Leader of Ansarullah resistance movement says Israel has failed to crush the resistance movement in Palestine despite all its capabilities and American support. Sayyid Abdul Malek al-Houthi stated that the performance of the resistance fighters in Gaza is impactful, inflicting direct losses on the enemy and thwarting its objectives. He pointed out that the Israeli forces kill unarmed civilians but their true nature is revealed when they engage with resistance fighters, showing how fearful and terrified they are. The Yemeni leader went on to say that Israel is using aid centers as death traps, shooting at Palestinian children waiting in lines to receive food. He added that Israel is carrying out these atrocities with full US support that claims to stand for human rights but does not allow Gazan children to have access to education.
