Aggression against Iran
A senior commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps says Iran came out greatly victorious in the 12-day US-Israeli aggression, which further strengthened the country's standing in the region. Rezaei said Iran’s military capabilities proved to the neighboring countries that it is a reliable power and they should cooperate with it. He added that the war demonstrated that Iran, on its own, can confront both the US and Israel. Rezaei noted that Iran is the only country that has directly targeted the US Central Command's headquarters in Qatar. He stressed that no other country has ever dared to strike a US base. The commander warned that if the US and Israel could dominate the region, they would disintegrate countries like Saudi Arabia and Turkey, and divide West Asia into 50 small, demilitarized regions whose skies would be under their control. Rezaei urged Iran’s armed forces to remain on high alert and respond to any further aggression with even greater force. He also praised the Iranian people for their unity in the face of the US-Israeli-imposed war.
US-Israeli Gaza genocide
The Israeli military continues to pound Gaza, killing and injuring more Palestinian civilians in its latest round of attacks across the war-ravaged territory. In one of the latest attacks, nearly a dozen people were killed after the regime’s military struck a house in the al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City. To the south, at least seven people were killed in a drone strike targeting tent of displaced Palestinians near Khan Yunis. A similar strike in the al-Mawasi refugee camp, also near Khan Yunis, left nearly 20 people dead and dozens of others injured. Fatalities were also reported in Israeli shelling of several areas across the territory. The Gaza genocide, which started in October 2023, has so far killed more than 57,570 Palestinians, leaving nearly 136,880 others injured.
Hezbollah leader interview
The leader of Hezbollah has once again strongly rejected calls for disarming the resistance movement, stressing that disarmament is not an option as long as Lebanon’s sovereignty is at risk. Sheikh Naim Qassem was speaking in an exclusive interview with Lebanon's al-Mayadeen television. Referring to Israel's repeated attacks on the Arab country, especially its capital, he warned that Hezbollah’s patience is not unlimited, and resistance will not remain silent forever. He blamed the US for Israel's escalation against Lebanon. Qassem said Washington is applying pressure through Israel in order to gain via diplomacy what it has failed to achieve militarily. He noted that Iran never asked Hezbollah to agree to ceasefire with Israel, and the decision was totally made by the movement. Qassem also reassured Hezbollah's supporters that despite severe blows it has suffered, the movement has not been defeated. He said despite all losses, Hezbollah stood on its feet, engaged in a fierce battle with Israel, and forced the regime to accept the ceasefire.
