US-Israeli aggression against Iran

Tehran calls on the UN Security Council to take decisive measures to hold Israel and the United States accountable over their acts of aggression against Iran. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei has said that the United Nations should officially designate both Israel and the US as aggressors. He also strongly condemned the Western countries for militarily supporting the Israeli aggression. Baghaei criticized the International Atomic Energy Agency for showing double standards, urging Director General Rafael Grossi to remain strictly within the bounds of his technical mandate. He called on Grossi to resist political influence from certain members of the IAEA Board of Governors. The Iranian spokesman added that remarks made by the agency chief in recent interviews were used as a justification for Israel’s aggression against Iran.

US-Israeli Gaza Genocide

More deaths and destruction in Gaza as the Israeli regime pushes ahead with its genocidal war on the besieged Palestinian territory. Since the early hours of Monday, Israeli strikes have killed at least 27 Palestinians across the strip, with bombardment intensifying following the regime’s forced evacuation orders. In one of the attacks, Al-Moamedani Hospital announced that 10 people were killed following the bombing of a humanitarian aid distribution center in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southern Gaza City. The Israeli military has intensified its assaults on Gaza, launching at least 50 airstrikes across the territory, with a heavy focus on the eastern part of Gaza City. Meanwhile, Egypt’s Foreign Minister has announced that his country is negotiating a new Gaza deal, which includes a proposed 60-day ceasefire in exchange for the release of some Israeli captives. The human toll of Israel’s war on Gaza continues to mount. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, the conflict has claimed at least 56,500 lives and left 133,400 and 19 people wounded since it began.

US Gun Violence

A man suspected of killing two firefighters in the US state of Idaho has been found dead following a large-scale manhunt involving state and federal authorities. The official told reporters that investigators believe the suspect deliberately started a fire to lure emergency crews to the scene. Authorities say the gunman acted alone, though no motive has yet been established. The shelter-in-place order and movement restrictions put in place during the search have now been lifted. The attack occurred on Sunday when firefighters responding to a blaze were ambushed. Two were killed, while a third remains in critical condition. The incident comes amid growing concerns over gun violence in the US, with critics arguing that more must be done to prevent such tragedies.
