US-Israeli Gaza genocide
More Palestinian civilians are being slaughtered in Gaza, as the Israeli military’s indiscriminate strikes keep pounding the blockaded territory. In one of the latest attacks, at least five people were killed when Israeli drones targeted tents of displaced Palestinians near Khan Yunis, southern Gaza. Also in southern Gaza, several Palestinian civilians were shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces near an aid distribution center in Rafah. According to the UN, more than five-hundred-50 Palestinians have been killed in recent weeks while attempting to access food at aid distribution points established under the so-called Israeli-American mechanism. The UN says such points have effectively become death traps and sites of mass killings. More than 56,400 Palestinians have so far been killed since the regime began its onslaught on Gaza in October 2023. Over 133,000 others have been injured.
Starvation in Gaza
The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, has called on the international community to take immediate steps to stop the ongoing Israeli crimes in the besieged Gaza Strip. Hamas said at least 66 children have lost their lives due to malnutrition and starvation caused by the suffocating siege and systematic starvation policies imposed by Israel’s war criminal prime minister on Gaza since March. The movement said these brutal crimes that target innocent children and civilians through starvation, bombardment and massacres, constitute horrific violations of international laws and all humanitarian norms and values. It added that the fascist regime in Tel Aviv commits such crimes and violations, knowing it is shielded from accountability due to the protection provided by the US administration, which is complicit in these crimes. Hamas said the international community must immediately intervene to end Israel’s genocide, break the siege of Gaza, and ensure the entry of all life-saving aid and essential supplies into the territory.
Hezbollah's warning to Israel
The leader of the Hezbollah resistance movement has warned against continuation of Israel’s attacks on Lebanon, stressing that the movement will not tolerate such attacks forever.Speaking in a televised address, Sheikh Naim Qassem condemned the ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon. Stressing that Hezbollah will not keep mum on the continuous Israeli violations, Sheikh Qassem said the movement is capable of confronting Israel and defeating it. The Hezbollah leader called Israel’s recent strikes in Nabatiyeh and attacks on civilians unacceptable, urging the Lebanese government to take responsibility for defending the country’s sovereignty. Sheikh Qassem also dismissed calls to disarm Hezbollah, emphasizing that the movement will never give up its sources of strength while the Israeli enemy keeps violating the ceasefire deal and attacking Lebanon. He also touched on Hezbollah’s support for the people of Gaza following Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, stressing that supporting Gaza was a moral, political, and principled duty.
