Rejecting Trump claims

The chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has slammed US President Donald Trump’s recent remarks that Iran has hindered its own progress over the past decades. Major General Hossein Salami said the country now proudly stands on its own feet with self-reliant achievements across various sectors. Salami was responding to Trump’s statements during a visit to Saudi Arabia, where the US president accused Iran of destabilizing the region and stalling its own development through misguided policies. He said Trump’s remarks were either the result of his ignorance of the reality of the Iranian nation, or part of a deceptive psychological operation to demoralize Iranians. The general also referred to Trump’s role in ordering the 2020 assassination of General Qassem Soleimani. He said Trump, who once labeled the Iranian nation as terrorists, cannot now pose as its friend. Salami announced that Iran has made a major achievement in the field of defense in recent weeks, which will be unveiled in the near future.

US-Israeli Gaza genocide

The Gaza Strip has witnessed another bloody day, as Israeli forces press ahead with their brutal assaults across the besieged territory. According to the Gaza health ministry, at least one-hundred-36 Palestinians have been killed since Thursday morning. One of the latest strikes killed half a dozen civilians and wounded many others in the Jabaliya refugee camp. An earlier strike on the camp had killed at least 15 civilians, including 11 children and a woman. Two separate attacks in the southern city of Khan Yunis left five civilians dead and many others wounded. Two more Palestinians were killed, and many others, including children, wounded, after a house was bombed north of Gaza City. The Israeli genocide has left more than 52,900 Palestinians dead since October 2023, with over 119,800 others injured.

Yemen anti-Israel operations

Yemen’s armed forces have carried out a new anti-Israel operation, once again targeting the regime’s Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied territories. Saree stressed that Yemenis are determined to strengthen and expand their operations against Israel with the goal of ending the regime’s aggression against Gaza and lifting its siege. He added that Yemen’s military operations, including the air navigation ban and maritime navigation ban against the regime in the Red and Arabian Seas, will continue until this objective is achieved. Yemen has launched hundreds of anti-Israel operations over the past months to stop the genocide in Gaza. The latest attacks have focused on the Ben Gurion Airport to disrupt its operations. The Yemeni army has also imposed a blockade on the Israeli port of Eilat, bringing its operations to a halt.
