Iran bids farewell to popular president

Millions of Iranians participated in days of mourning processions that were held across the country to honor the late president Ebrahim Raeisi and his companions who died in a helicopter crash on Sunday. President Raeisi and his foreign minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, were revered figures not only in Iran, but also among the oppressed people of the region.

As the Leader of the Islamic Revolution has said, President Raeisi and Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian worked tirelessly to serve the interests of the nation.
