Israel not ceasing genocide

Not facing a US veto this time, the UN Security Council finally called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, which has so far fallen on Tel Aviv's deaf ears.

Israel defiantly insists it will perform an operation on Rafah where a million and a half Palestinians have taken shelter. This has faced global criticism and stern warnings even from Israel’s closest ally, the US.

Meantime, truce negotiations are still ongoing in Doha, though with no breakthrough. So far, Israel’s holocaust in Gaza has killed over 32,000 Palestinians. Some half a million Gazans are already facing starvation and many more are on the brink. These are the main topics of this edition of Press TV's Spotlight program.
