Israel Gaza genocide

Israel keeps pounding Gaza, killing more Palestinians in the already devastated territory. In its fresh attacks, the Israeli military bombed a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. As a result, eleven people, including a journalist, were killed. To the south in the city of Khan Yunis, Israeli snipers took the lives of two Palestinian brothers. The total death toll from the Israeli war in Gaza since October 7 has surpassed 26,000. More than three-quarters of the fatalities are women and children. Those surviving, are living in dire health conditions. According to Palestine's Environmental Quality Authority, 66% of people in Gaza are suffering from water-borne diseases like cholera. That’s due to a lack of access to drinking water as the relentless Israeli attacks have destroyed Gaza’s infrastructure.

ICJ Gaza genocide case

The International Court of Justice is set to rule on South Africa’s case against Israel over its genocide in Gaza.

Solidarity with Palestinians

Millions have poured onto the streets of the Yemeni city of Sa’ada in yet another show of solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza. The demonstrators condemned the ongoing onslaught in the Gaza Strip. They began their weekly rallies following the onset of the Gaza war in early October. The Yemenis demand the lifting of the Gaza siege and an end to the war there. They also expressed outrage at the United States’ support for the Israeli atrocities in Gaza. The protesters meanwhile condemned the US and UK for their airstrikes against Yemen. Washington and London launched the strikes two weeks ago in response to Yemeni operations against Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea. The protesters backed the operations which Yemen says are aimed at supporting Gazans.
