US-Israeli onslaught on Gaza

More civilians lose their lives in the Gaza Strip as Israel presses ahead with its ethnic cleansing campaign in the Palestinian territory. More than two dozen people were killed in the attack on Rafah. Relentless Israeli airstrikes and shelling over the past two months have destroyed the critical infrastructure in Gaza. The Palestinian telecommunications firm, Paltel now says all services have been cut off again due to bombardment which makes it tougher for medical teams to act. Schools packed with displaced Gazans have also been targeted. At least two civilians were killed after a school was bombed in a Gaza City neighborhood.

Gaza 'humanitarian tsunami'

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees has highlighted the plight of the people in Gaza and the inhumane conditions they endure as Israel continues its relentless deadly strikes there. The spokesman of UNRWA said Gaza residents are starving amid what he called a humanitarian tsunami. Adnan Abu Hasna said Gaza is suffering a lot from lack of food and medicine. Separately, the head of the agency also touched upon the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. Phillipe Lazzarini said Gazans are desperate, hungry and terrified. He also slammed Israel’s attacks on UN facilities in the Palestinian territory.

Yemen support for Gaza

Yemen’s naval forces have targeted yet another ship heading to Israel in response to the regime’s ongoing onslaught on the Gaza Strip. The spokesman for the Yemeni army said, the container ship was directly hit with a drone after the crew refused to respond to the warnings. Yahya Saree called the operation a victory for the oppressed Palestinians and a response to the calls by the free people of Yemen. He further revelead that the army has successfully stopped several ships from reaching Israeli ports in the past 48 hours. The spokesman reiterated the Yemeni army’s pledge that it will continue blocking Israel-bound ships in the Red and Arabian Seas until the regime halts its aggression against Palestinians.
