Gaza under attack

It's day 15th of Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip. The regime has carried out new air raids as the first aid convoy enters the besieged territory from Egypt. The latest strikes targeted the cities of Rafah and Deir al-Balah, leaving 13 people dead. Gaza’s health ministry says nearly 4400 Palestinians have been killed and more than 13500 have been injured. Over 70 percent of the victims are children, women, and the elderly. The first aid convoy has just entered the Gaza Strip since the ongoing bombing campaign started on October 7. Since then, Israel has imposed a total blockade on the strip, cutting food, water, electricity, and fuel supplies to the densely populated area. The regime says the aid will go only to southern areas of the Gaza Strip, and it does not include fuel. Humanitarian groups say this initial aid is a drop in the ocean. Hamas says the aid cannot change the catastrophic medical conditions in Gaza.

Deeply rooted in Palestine

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has warned against any attempts to displace Palestinians amid Israel's brutal aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip. Abbas made the comment in an address to a peace summit held in the Egyptian capital Cairo. He said Israeli forces violate every possible humanitarian law by targeting civilians through the aerial bombardment of hospitals, schools, and shelters. The Palestinian president said he demanded a halt to Israeli attacks and the opening of humanitarian corridors from day one. Abbas said he rejected the idea of killing civilians, adding that his administration is adopting all peaceful and legal means to achieve its national goals. The peace summit in Egypt aims to provide humanitarian assistance to the besieged Gaza and bring an immediate end to the Israeli massacre of Palestinians there.

Solidarity with Palestinians

Pro-Palestinian rallies have been held across the world to demand an end to the bloodshed in Gaza amid the regime’s brutal aggression against the blockaded territory. In London, tens of thousands marched through the streets of the capital London to call for a stop to the Israeli carnage. They waved Palestinian flags in a show of solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine. In Sydney, people held protest rallies to condemn the regime’s onslaught on Gaza. Protesters chanted “Palestine will never die” as they gathered outside Sydney’s town hall. Other Australian cities, including Brisbane and Perth, also witnessed rallies in support of Palestinians. The Thai capital was also the scene of a similar demonstration. Hundreds of people gathered outside the Israeli embassy in Bangkok to demand an end to the regime’s aggression.
