Israel normalization warning
The Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution slams the governments pursuing normalization with Israel, likening it to betting on a losing horse. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says Tel Aviv is replete with hatred and rage and antagonistic toward both Iran and all its own neighbors. He also hailed the Palestinian groups' preparedness to resist the occupation. Ayatollah Khamenei added that Israel is like cancer that will certainly be eradicated by the Palestinian people and resistance forces. The Leader also touched upon the recent desecrations of the Qur’an, saying such acts will not weaken the holy book.
Muslim celebrations
Muslims in several countries, including Iran, are commemorating the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad. Special ceremonies and events are being held across Iran, including the capital Tehran to mark the occasion. This day falls every year during Rabi' al-Awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar. Every year, Muslims around the world celebrate the birthday of the Prophet, to confirm his teachings of monotheism with great fervor and enthusiasm. People in many countries mark the occasion based on the narratives of the Sunni Muslims who put the Prophet's birthday on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal. In Iran, the event is held between the 12th and the 17th of the Lunar Month, known as the Islamic Unity Week.

Former US president Donald Trump has arrived at a New York courthouse for the second day of a civil trial in a case that threatens to dismantle parts of his business empire. Trump is accused of inflating the value of his assets by billions of dollars to secure more favorable loan and insurance terms. The judge seeks at least two-hundred-fifty million dollars in fines, as well as a permanent ban against Trump and his sons from running businesses in New York. Trump has denied any wrongdoing. This marks the latest in a series of legal woes the ex-president faces, including over alleged sexual abuses and mishandling of classified files. He is the front-runner in the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
