Israel's anti-Iran rhetoric

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has spoken at the UN General Assembly and has leveled false accusations against the Islamic Republic.

In a speech that mentioned Iran 31 times, he falsely accused the country of pursuing a nuclear weapons program, and threatened the Islamic Republic with nuclear weapons. His office retracted that statement later in the day.

In this edition of the Spotlight program, we once again review Netanyahu’s belligerent obsession with Iran and a nuclear weapons program that does not exist, while the regime itself possesses nuclear warheads, which pose a clear threat to the West Asia region.
