Iran nuclear program
The Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution says enemies are well aware that Iran does not seek nuclear weapons but they are using the allegation as a pretext to stop the country’s progress. Ayatollah Khamenei said the enemies also fear other nations following in the footsteps of an advancing Iran. He said the enemies have resorted to bullying Iran and making irrational demands from it, including those exceeding the regular safeguards agreements in the world. The Leader added that two decades of Western standoff with Iran over the nuclear program has revealed the untrustworthiness of the other side. He said Iran’s negotiating partners as well as the International Atomic Energy Agency have made many pledges that they did not keep. The Leader said the agency must not be swayed by the false claims of other parties. He called on Iranian officials to keep up ties with the IAEA. The Leader added that there’s nothing wrong with an agreement with the West but the country's nuclear infrastructure should remain intact. Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian nuclear officials and experts.

US agenda in Venezuela
Former US president Donald Trump has admitted that he would’ve taken over Venezuela and seized its oil if he had remained in power. Trump said when he left office in 2021, Venezuela was about to collapse and the US would’ve seized it and taken all of its oil. He added that the US now has to buy the oil. Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gill harshly criticized Trump’s statement, saying the main objective behind US pressure on Venezuelan people is to steal the country’s oil. He stressed that the US will never be able to seize Venezuelan resources. Venezuela’s relations with the US broke off in 2019, when the administration of Donald Trump refused to recognize the country’s election results, throwing its weight behind the opposition figure Juan Guaido.
