Call for UN pressure on Israel 

Lebanon condemns Israel’s repeated violations of its airspace to carry out airstrikes on Syria. The Lebanese army is warning of consequences if Israeli warplanes continue to intrude into the country’s airspace. The army has asked the United Nations to pressure Israel to stop its violations and hold it responsible for such acts of aggression. It says Israeli military aircraft fly over Lebanese skies on a daily basis. Israel has conducted hundreds of attacks on Syria since the start of war in the Arab country in 2011. To do so, Israeli jets cross into Lebanon to reach Syria. 

Johnson's partygate scandal  

The British Police have launched an inquiry into a set of parties, held at Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s office and residence, during Covid lockdowns. The police have sent questionnaires to 50 people believed to have attended the gatherings, including Johnson himself. The so-called partygate scandal has put the prime minister under mounting pressure to resign. A dozen MPs have withdrawn their support for Johnson, and five senior Downing Street aides have stepped down. He faces a vote of no confidence in his leadership if 54 of his 360 Conservative lawmakers stop supporting him as premier. 

War hysteria over Ukraine 

Western countries asking their citizens to leave Ukraine immediately over an imminent Russian invasion. Moscow is calling it an information war.
