Representatives of resistance groups gathered in Beirut to pay tribute to Iran’s top commander, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and senior Iraqi commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis. The two anti-terror icons were assassinated in an American drone strike outside Baghdad Airport on January 3, 2020. Participants in the event all agreed that Soleimani united the region in the face of a common threat posed by US and Israel.

Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Qassem stressed that people in the region will stand united and confront the threat posed by the United States.
