An all-white jury in the United States has delivered a dramatic verdict to acquit Kyle Rittenhouse although he had killed two men and wounded another in a series of shootings during a night of protests against racial injustice in Kenosha last year.
The jury agreed Rittenhouse acted in self-defense, triggering outrage and consequent protests following a case that riveted the nation. The young boy had bought the gun illegally and brought to the US state of Wisconsin, yet after nearly four full days of deliberation he was only acquitted. So has he escaped justice?
