Canada hate-motivated crime

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau slams a hate-motivated attack that killed four members of a Muslim family and vows to redouble efforts to fight far-right groups. Canadian police say the family, that was killed on Sunday when a pickup truck jumped the curb and ran them over, were targeted because of their religion. The victims ranged in age from 15 to 74. The National Council of Canadian Muslims has also denounced the attack as an act of terror. The 20-year-old suspect, arrested shortly after the attack, has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
