Operation Eagle Claw: A disaster at desert
On April 24th, 1980, the United States launched a military operation to rescue 52 embassy staff held captive in the Iranian capital Tehran. In this operation, known as Operation Eagle Claw, the US Delta Force managed to enter Iran's airspace by using the blind spots on the radar. But, things didn't go as planned. Here is a short review of the operation.
