Protesters flood Buenos Aires in rally against Milei's economic policies

The March of Anger moved through the streets of central Buenos Aires on Saturday, with a large mobilisation of social, student and political organizations speaking out against President Javier Milei's economic plan.

Drone footage shows the demonstration advancing from Plaza del Congreso to Plaza de Mayo, where the main rally was held. The protest, called by leaders of the Left Front under the slogan 'Organise the anger to defeat Milei', brought together more than 350 organizations, according to participants.

The mobilization was mirrored in a further 30 cities across the country and was directed against the policies of Javier Milei's government. The march also included human rights organizations and student and socio-environmental groups.

Upon arriving at Plaza de Mayo, demonstrators took part in a rally at which a document prepared by the participating groups was read. The day also featured expressions of support from figures in the arts and was replicated in provinces such as Cordoba, Santa Fe, Mendoza and Neuquen.
