The International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague has issued five “secret” arrest warrants for Israeli officials, including three politicians and two military personnel.

Media outlets reported on Sunday that it is unclear when the arrest warrants were issued. The ICC has often issued its arrest warrants secretly and only subsequently made them public.

There has been no immediate statement from the ICC regarding the report. If confirmed, this would bring to seven the number of Israeli officials facing arrests by the court.

The Hague-based court already issued arrest warrants in November 2024 for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli minister of military affairs Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity after Tel Aviv launched the genocidal war against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip in October 2023.

Israeli forces have killed more than 72,000 people across the enclave, mostly women and children, and injured over 172,000 more since then.

The Tel Aviv regime has issued threats and warnings against the ICC for initiating the probe into Israeli war crimes in Gaza.

A report published by the Middle East Eye (MEE) in August 2025 revealed that British ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan has been told to withdraw the arrest warrants for Israeli officials, otherwise he and the ICC would be “destroyed.”

According to the report, the warning was delivered in May to Khan by Nicholas Kaufman, a British-Israeli defense lawyer linked to Netanyahu.
