Israeli prosecutors will indict three Israeli soldiers and a settler with spying for Iran after they allegedly maintained long-term contact with Iran-linked agents.

A joint statement by the Israeli military, the regime’s internal spy agency and Israel police claimed that the three soldiers had been in contact with their handler before their enlistment, and knowingly conducted espionage missions for Tehran.

The soldiers, who were training at an Israeli air force technical school, are accused of photographing the premises at the request of the alleged Iranian agent.

The suspects reportedly documented public areas such as train stations, shopping centers and security cameras.

According to the statement, the suspects were reportedly asked by their handler to purchase weapons, but it is unclear whether they agreed to do so.

The four would be charged later on Friday in the Haifa district attorney’s office.

This comes amid a growing pattern of ordinary Israeli settlers allegedly being recruited online by Iran-linked agents.

Meanwhile, Iran’s intelligence bodies and law enforcement forces have detained numerous subversive elements amid the US-Israeli aggression, while the Islamic Republic's Armed Forces have confronted the aggressors with waves of decisive and successful retaliatory strikes.

Authorities have emphasized the importance of public vigilance, noting that prompt reporting of suspicious activities to the police emergency center helps prevent any destructive activity and actions aimed at sowing insecurity.

On Friday, Judiciary head Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei said Iran will firmly prosecute and punish traitors according to the law without fearing criticism but will not step outside religious and legal boundaries.

He said in a social media post that the judiciary fully supports security and intelligence forces in pursuing and arresting spies, infiltrators, and traitors, but cautioned that no one should be wronged under the pretext of wartime conditions.

He also stressed the importance of strengthening national unity and standing against those who undermine it, adding that the Islamic establishment is founded with the people's will and will endure through their support.
